You neednt restrict yourself to a traditional breakfast nook formation, if thats not your style. You could arrange your benches into an L shape with table and additional facing bench for seating. Or, you could create a more urban setting with a round table and chairs design similar to that found in bars and coffee shops. A soda shop motif lays out similar to the traditional but uses metal and vinyl for its furniture in place of wood. Its all up to you.
