Statues in Themed Gardens You can choose your garden decor based on the existing garden area and how the statues need to be projected. Outdoor statues can be made to be in spotlight by placing them in a place of focus, or they can be appropriately hidden to a less intrusive location. You may also have an existing decor in the garden that can be enhanced with carefully placed statues that are not really stand alone pieces. Lifelike statues and animal figurines add appeal to an existing naturalistic setting in the garden. An outdoor space that has a spiritual theme can be enhanced with religious statues such as angels and cherubs, or dominated by a centrally placed statue of Virgin Mary.
