Concrete can be left outside to weather naturally but should be covered during the winter months to protect it from freezing and thawing. Concrete fountains should be sealed for extra protection and turned over during the winter to prevent freezing and cracking. If you want to add some sparkle to your garden, consider placing a few Victorian gazing globes in your greenery. Extra ornamentation adds visual interest and helps to fill in the bare spots. A combination statue and gazing globe also adds interest if you prefer smaller attention getters.
