Rochester NY hosts Lilac Festival therefore; it is also recognized as 'The Flower City'. This festival is celebrated every May for ten days. About 400 varieties of Lilac are presented in the festival and near about 10,000 people come on the festival. Although Rochester ny is a metropolitan city, still there is historical architecture and artwork promoted in the city. About twenty miles southwest of Rochester, there is a Genesee Country Village and Museum.
