Educate yourself about rochester events
Residents enjoy visiting shops, local coffee houses, and the beautiful, scenic streets. You may already have your heart set on Park Ave, but consider a less hyped, still great place like NOTA (Neighborhood of the Arts). Located around the George Eastman House and Memorial Art Gallery, this neighborhood features the ARTWalk, plus many great, inexpensive places to rent. The rents are comparable to Park Ave, and this area is closer to Downtown. South Wedge has a grittier reputation than the others, but has recently been rehabilitated into a great neighborhood for young people.
