Sending out baby announcements through the mail is still a viable option, although you may want to be aware of a few guidelines. It is good idea to send out baby announcements no later than two weeks after the birth of your child for instance. Baby announcements also typically adopt a few common themes and color schemes. Of course there aren't as many strict rules with baby announcements as there are with wedding invitations or engagement announcements. Even so, these conventions may prove to be a good starting point for successful announcements.
